Hey everyone, so this sessions is just my friends recording where he first build the spider that i fixed on the last session. He did alot of researched on each part to find the best one and also took alot of time to place each component so it can be easily understood by as. Some of his connections as i said before were wrong so dont take inspo from this build. The camera we had to remove it later on cause we wouldn’t have put it in the pcb and we will put on top of the esp32 where is connects to the pins. Again do not take the wiring from here its mostly wrong
Hey everyone, so today i decided to do the spider schematic part of the project. My friend tried his best but honestly he has no clue how to connect different modules and assign the footprints. So i started by removing one extra component he added that was not needed and fixed the wiring on the servos. Then cause i also have no clue how half the components should connect i just asked ai cause i want the project to work and not blow up. I added a charging port and a boost converter i fixed all the wiring and connections and footprints but there is still alot of work left cause i didnt connect the boost converter nor the charging port. Anyway have to go now my mom is forcing me to do my homework.
Hey everyone, so today i finally finished the pcb for the controller of the spider. Putting the components in the places i wanted was the ez part. The difficult part was getting all the footprints right and all the mods. But honestly i had fun connecting all the wires from component to component cause its a simple task i konw well. Now theoretically im done i just need my friends to finish the spider and the repo. Wait actually i still need to make the case which everytime i think is ez but it takes me hours. And the code for everything too
Hey everyone, so for the last few days me and some friends have been designing a spider robot and a controller for it. So we thought of making it with the esp32 but we didnt want it to be really large so we decided to go with the xiao seeed cause it is the smallest esp32. The controller also uses the esp32 cause honestly is one of the greatest microcontrollers ever. For the controller we used a small olde screen and 2 joystick. 1 for movement and the other for moving the camera. Ohh and the spider has a camera that is also nightvision and we added ir blasters so we could actually see. Our biggest problem rn is the legs cause our best thought so far is to use 3 motors for each joined but that beats the hole point of it being a small spider. We also need to finish the pcb the code the repo and the cases to be officially done. Further more cause my friends are new to all of this they spend alot of time trying to learn the basics. We also spend alot of time watching tutorials so they could understand everything. This was so much more fun cause we also took some breaks here and there and it was amazing
