Finally got my domain grant! Edited the bluesky link since my handle changed and updated the Readme to be more extensive on some stuff like mobile vs desktop differences & added screenshots. Plus, I added a creative commons license to the project!

The mobile version of the site is working! It’s just a basic phone-like UI, but I feel like it fits the vibe of the desktop site. There’s no text, just stuff to click and explore
Began working on the design for a mobile version of the site. It could look like a phone home screen? If I figure out how to do grids properly that is
The website had some issues with hover animations, so I wrapped all animated objects inside divs that don’t themselves move. I also added a back button the the gallery and games page, since many people wanted that from the previous ship’s reviews!

Designed and implemented a nice social media embed for the website!
Recreated the games page design with html and css, and renamed the project to Alex’s Desk. Also, the photos page was actually this extremely large (20mb) vector file, so I instead I exported it as png and compressed it, which resulted into a neat 1,4mb file instead!
Designed a game page that showcases the games I’ve made that I’m the most proud of as gameb- uhhh I meant Poteto ALEX BOY™ cartridges!
Designed and implemented the album page! It’s basically “my wall” showcasing some of my favorite photos I’ve taken. Will probably update with new ones in the feature, too. Also, I added some fade in to make page loading look nicer!
Did some important minor changes, like making images non-draggable (instead you drag the link that you’d get redirected to if you clicked them) and adding a favicon. Also I think I’ll be renaming the project to Alex’s Desk, so I guess that’s what I’ll be doing next!
Recreated the design with html and css! It took me quite a while to get the div centered correctly and for objects to not jump around and stay on the desk no matter the viewport size, but I managed to do it at the end! Added some simple hover animations and redirects for clicking each object on the desk. Next up, I’ll add some tooltips, maybe some better animations, and see what I’ll do with the photos page. I want it to be a custom page with my photos. Also maybe it should be a different website altogether for mobile?
I already had a rough outline of how I wanted my website to look, but I designed a couple more things in Sketch. They’re subject to change, ofc, but this is what I want my website to have!
