NOVA Search — My First Search Engine Project. I built NOVA Search using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I wanted to make a search website that had more than just a search bar, so I added some API features to make it more interactive.I used NASA’s API to set the website background to their Astronomy Picture of the Day, Last.fm’s API to show top music, and a News API to display daily news.I also used ChatGPT to help me with some of the JavaScript and ChatGPT Codex to create some of the hover animations.This project helped me learn a lot about working with APIs and JavaScript. It currently works best on desktop, and I plan to make it properly responsive for mobile in the future.
