⚠️ NOTICE: SHIPWRIGHTS - HAVE A LOOK AT OOPS DOWN THE BOTTOM ⚠️
Devlog # 6: “Yay”, “OOPS” and “More OOPS (Not as bad)”
🎉 Yay!
Got the encryption working almost perfectly! Might need someone to do hacking tests (Not like anyone in Hack Club knows how to Hack, but anyway) to check my security later if anyone has time (And reason).
😥 OOPS
I just realised that I was supposed to be coding in a public GitHub repository the whole time, as up until now I had been coding locally and had planned to upload my code to a repository just before shipping. I have now uploaded all my code in logical development stages, and am working correctly now. (Also, I had Hackatime tracking correctly the whole time, it was just no GitHub repo that was the issue). Hope this isn’t a problem.
😕 More OOPS (Not as bad)
I also realised that I missed out a pretty important part of the main category logic: How the deletion handles password dependencies. I was so focused on making the recursive rename work, that I forgot about what it should do when you delete one! I will get this fixed soon.
(P.S. If anyone has noticed my (complete) overuse of brackets (parentheses), well done. Always a programmer at heart 😂😊 </>.)
