Devlog #2 - Robot Chassis Design Update, I finished the second vershon the the robot shell, i made it so I could add lego parts to it, there is a hole for the meter and space for all the lego components, I am going to work on code for it whal I wate for the funding to get aproved, wish me luck
Devlog #1 – Started Designing My Robot 🚗🤖
Today I started designing the chassis for my robot. My goal is to build a simple educational robot that uses an ESP32, motors, and sensors to drive around and avoid obstacles.
So far I have:
Created the first version of the robot chassis.
Added four wheels to visualize the overall size.
Designed a removable bottom plate that will hold the electronics.
Planned space inside the chassis for the battery, ESP32, and motor driver.
This is an early prototype, so there are still a lot of improvements to make. Next I’ll be adding:
Motor mounting brackets
ESP32 mounting holes
Battery holder
Ultrasonic sensor mount
Screw holes so the chassis can be assembled
I’m also putting together a complete parts list and budget for the hardware funding request.
