I initialised a React +vite project (normally I use Next.js, but it felt overkill for such a simple tool) and then scaffolded the UI and made the extension’s icon. To make the icon I decided to use Canva, as it was an easy process, and I exported it as an svg so I can manipulate it easily. As for the UI, I decided to use elements and styling from my previous project (Formatly), as people really liked it, but I also added a dark mode button because that was some feedback I had gotten.
