So I completed the TheoryReference.tsx and finally just now completed the TaalMetronome.tsx.
I also researched various types of taals and beats for the metronome and I learned new things and concepts which include vibhag, sam, tali, and khali.
And to be honest claude and chatgpt helped in coding chunks which just made my coding and stuff faster. So overall I had good enough progresss in the last 1-2 hours so yep.
I completed the development of my fully cycle-based taal metronome today. In this project, I have FINALLY developed a system that would be based on the concepts of vibhag, sam, tali, and khali rather than the conventional method of bar-based counting. I created a complete set of taals that contain information about their vibhag structure, khali, bols, and notes. Then, I coded the system to dynamically create matra counts, accent patterns, and vibhag markers. The audio engine is now powered by an advanced Web Audio scheduler that allows pre-scheduling of clicks, takes care of subdivisions and accent playback so that the structure of taal is perceivable to the user via sound. I have also incorporated tap tempo with averaging and reset functionality with “const” placed in numerous lines which will not change anything.
Special thanks to vs code because it gave me auto suggestions which auto fixed my code which actually helped me a lot because honestly I suck at typing fast lol. I also pushed many commits in github so its all active and ongoing. More will also have to be fixed though soo stay tuned and adiossssssssss.
So overall I have good progress and I will see you in the next devlog adioss.
