Did some research and found the only seller i could find for the raspberry pi zero 2W (the sbc i was planning on using for this project) is now out of stock, i have changed my design to now be built around the raspberry pi 3 model b. In honesty - id prefer to do this project with the raspberry pi 5 but i am unsure i will be in the right tier to get enough funding for that as im not really sure where a cyberdeck would fall in the hardware tierlist; I’m just hoping to be in at least A tier. I have started working on the 3D printed insert for inside the briefcase - as you may be able to see on my rough model it cuts through the breifcase’s corners this is just because i dont know the real dimensions of the briefcase, i will ajust the model once ive gotten funding and can measure the case irl to make a more accurate model :D

I have decided on the battery, fan and SBC i am going to be using and have added them to my 3d model, most of the time being logged was spent researching. I am very new to sbcs and am a little scared this looks harder than i thought it would be but hopefully should be fine! I am hoping that there han be some usable storage space within the deck now.
