Devlog 13: Starting WebOS 2
Now that FPS OS has been approved, it’s time to get to work on the WebOS 2 version. This means I need to add at least three new features.
Clipboard
Firstly, I have added the clipboard. When copying or cutting text, it shows up in your clipboard history. This uses oncopy and oncut so it will use the default keybind for your (real) OS.
Gun
One of my friends mentioned how it can’t be an FPS without the S (for shooter). Experience the gun in all it’s high-fidelity glory. There is a limit of 5 ammo that reloads automatically. You can’t see the bullets but you can push physics objects around and leave Decal holes.
Control Panel
I started working on the control panel. It has a panel that lists the keyboard controls, while also being a panel with controls on it to alter some options. I still need to add animation and labels to the switch. Then make the other two switches work.
My plan
My new checklist is:
[x] Computer [Window]
[x] Notepad [Window]
[x] Ship to WebOS 1
[x] Clipboard
[x] Gun
[ ] Control Panel [Window]
[ ] Update my pixel art font
[ ] File system 😏
[ ] ^- Bin
[ ] Camera
[ ] Shop (for objects)
[ ] Better placing?
[ ] Ship to WebOS 2 (will be moved up if necessary)
