devlog #15 – shoot for the stars like 📸

• debugged completion and re-activation of both subtasks and “mainstream” tasks! fixed subtask element selection in different task-controlling functions; improved localStorage handling for task completion and prevented duplicate entries.
• the long-awaited UI update!! used a free gradient as a background, edited opacity and blur in layout.css. changed color schemes further and added glassy / transparency aesthetic to to-do boxes.
• debugged the case where task dropdown menus didn’t disappear when other tasks were clicked!! small UX updates that make life significantly less frustrating. (small when they’re there, big when they’re not… guys… i’m a totally unartistic soul and a coder… ui/ux designers please save me!!! we love you 💖💖)
