A cool webOS
A cool webOS
Fixed an issue in the File Explorer that prevented users from navigating to different locations or opening folders.I also improved the Notes app with several new features: users can now import notes from .json or .txt files, undo and redo changes, save notes directly in the File Explorer, pin important notes, search through notes, view version history, and have changes saved automatically in real time.I also added functionality to the sound button, allowing users to adjust the volume percentage, although no sounds are currently available. Notifications have been added as well.
Login screen done + pfp and a somewhat working file explorer, will fix next update and will add a clock app + calender app
Mini devlog: I added the ability to change your username and other account details. The change profile picture button is currently just a placeholder, and profile pictures only display the first letter of your username. I’ll add proper profile picture support soon + a lock screen!
Added Settings app, added Dark mode and Graphite mode, allowed changing of the theme throug the settings app, added 2 backgrounds, resizeable windows, scaling and fixed optimised it a little
Next update will hopefully feature a:
Login screen + user auth system
Working trashcan
File explorer
feature allowing the dragging apps from file explorer to desktop + them + movable apps in the desktop
Terminal has been added, time to focus on dark mode
Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!, after debugging a bunch of errors and creating the UI, I now have a somewhat working version! It still has quite a few bugs, and the terminal is currently only a placeholder, but the project is finally starting to look and feel like a real operating system.
Next, I’m planning to add a fully working terminal, a file explorer, a settings app, a system information app, draggable apps, resizable windows, icon scaling ( it looks small on my current monitor ) and a functional clock. I also want to improve the overall performance, add animations and polish them, fix the remaining UI issues. There is still a lot of work left, but I’m really happy with how it looks so far and excited to continue developing it. If you have any ideas, feature suggestions, or feedback, feel free to let me know! :)
