🍯 Honeydew is officially shipped!
After fixing the final bugs and getting Honeydew running 24/7 on a server, I can finally say the project is complete. This project started as a simple idea for a Slack bot, but it ended up becoming much more than that. I added features like cat facts, cat moods, cat quotes, animal quizzes, slash commands, and more. The process definitely had its challenges. There were plenty of bugs, confusing errors, deployment issues, and moments where I had no idea why something suddenly stopped working 😭 But working through each problem taught me a lot about JavaScript, Node.js, Slack Bolt, GitHub, and deploying projects to a server. I’m really happy with how Honeydew turned out and proud that I was able to take it from an idea to a working project running 24/7.Thanks to everyone who helped and gave feedback throughout the process — and to ChatGPT for helping me understand and debug parts of the code along the way.🍯🐱🚀
