Explore the last remnants of a dying civilization after a devastating flare.
Im finally done
After 12 hours, i have finished my project, albeit its not as good as i desired it to be, im happy since this is my first ever game and i really hope i can get that raspberry pi which is like 90 stardust.
What really concerns me though is that i vibecoded like a quarter of the scripts and also i didnt really understand what i had to do with github, i just put my scripts in there and called it a day.
here you go if you want to try it out https://funny-youtiao-0c47f5.netlify.app/
I think i like how my alien looks, its supposed to be a dying one
So i already know that this game is going to turn out very different from what i had originally expected, its now certain to me that ill have to make this a lot longer, if i had more time and also motivation i probably could have done greater things than this. at this point i just want to finish the end where you meet the alien. I actually cannot believe that i had possibly taken 12 hours to complete this bro
I made the best walk cycle the world has ever seen, and they could call me the greatest programmer that has ever lived. (also i added more to the level. im like 50% there) Looking at other Unity projects i feel quite stupid for making such a simple, and ugly project, but hey, if i cant get that rpi 4,i can always get that zero 2w and make a cyberdeck.
July 28
Im finally bac and starting work again on the last level but its rather hard since ther player is not jumping at all.
I will soon fix it and also get more things to do, i havent made any scripts yet so yeah
no devlogs for now
Im lowk grounded because i was spending too much time on the pc becasue of hackatime and now im not allowed to be working on the project anymore
I need to finish my textures, my final scene where the astronaut meets the alien, and my sounds.
Im gna try bargaining with my parents here but if i fail im not getting that raspberry pi 4 anytime soon
July 23
So ivebeen busy and didnt really do much for the project so far, but i have started wirk on the bunker, which is the main game. for some reason the scene isnt loading properly and im fixing that right now, butother than that it seems to be working pretty well. i will start makingthe characters in a few days using blender
I have now made my new animation part of playercontroller!!
Log 00ihavenoidea
I now have a working animtor without using that damn animation component Unity gives onits own, and it works rather easily! all i need todo now is when reskinning,i throw thesprites into here and i am done!

i made a new github page for my project, i dont understand why my past devlog failed but i made a new script transporting you to the main scene, where the bunker is located. you visit traps and just explore it alot, there will be biohazards everywhere and it will be the most ambitious project i may ever accomplish (i hope)
Finally something new Z
July 17
the new plot is traversing a marslike planet with ties to a dying alien civilization, you get past ancient traps, space spaces, asteroid fields, and make contact and research along the way, while being a NUSA Astronaut. I can use my old scripts for this, and i can save alot of my time by making it pixelart, like terraria
Transitus devlog 3, still july 17
I’ve been working on code a little more, my speed has been increased a lot thanks to AI auto-fill and debugging using auto. I’ve been using a bunch of i Enumerators, co-routines, and is trigger box colliders (Collider 2D) within the game to show that the player will die after touching a certain block. i am thinking to instead load only one single planet that is larger than the rest, or that its earth like and i have to traverse through different biomes.
Devlog 2
As of july 17, i have made more changes to Planet 1, while my first 2 scenes are basically done, and simply now need reskins, and sound effects. I made my code use public variables to make sure i can easily change them from inspector, and asign the scripts to different gameobjects and have them do different things.
[i also left my computer unattended for an hour and it added more time to my hackatime project, please remember to remove one hour from my time]
First 3 scenes out of 5 are almost fully completed, Code and everything is fully completed and ready for reskinning to 720p
Transitus is a game about exploring 3 habitable exoplanets in search of sapient life beyond the solar system, where you traverse through platformers of various difficulty and niches, like ice, desert, and jungle,
I will be updating this on steam and itch.io when i am fully finished
