Devlog #2: Knock, Knock. Who Goes There?

The desktop finally has a front door. Turns out letting anyone wander into your operating system isn’t exactly ideal, so TADS OS now politely asks who you are before handing over the keys.

The old “Click to Enter” flow has evolved into something that feels much more like booting into a real operating system. After the welcome screen, you’re greeted by a terminal-inspired login prompt. $ login
Type the password, press Enter (or the button if you’re feeling traditional), and you’re in. Get it wrong? invalid password

Current Status:

TADS OS now has:
A welcome experience
Password authentication
Client-side routing
A dedicated desktop environment
A (semi) functional taskbar
Responsive layouts
Pixel-perfect fullscreen behavior

The desktop will still say “Coming Soon”……but changes to come would be massive.
