The FIRST Media Community website. A community of aspiring FIRST creatives consisting of students, alumni, and mentors who share ideas and create media of any variety. Not only to make it more accessible, but also to help out others with their media. The goal is to provide a space where aspiring and experienced creatives can connect, share ideas, develop their skills, and collaborate on projects ranging from photography and videography to graphic design, social media, and more.

This website is for the FIRST Media Community, a place where people can upload FRC team photos and videos, have admins review them, and make all media easy to find by team. If someone is not as familiar with media, there is a commissions board and a whole connecting Discord server to help support newcomers. One of the hardest parts was working with the Google Drive API for the first time, as I needed to handle uploads, folders, permissions, and making sure media could be stored and viewed properly. I’m most proud of the team search feature because it lets users search a team number and quickly find all the media connected to that team, all in one place. To test the project, people should try searching for teams, uploading media, checking that uploads wait for admin approval, and confirming that approved media appears on the Teams page.

The FIRST Media Community website is now public! A website designed to find all media on any FRC Team out there! And if you are a media enthusiast, a space to share and upload your own/other team clips! The website also advertises commissions for non-media people to still share their ideas, and a whole community discord to join, work together and learn.
