Its simillar to real jet engines but insted doesnt have a turbine and neither a combustion chamber but a flame tube wich i came up with , but it have an impeller driven by a electromotor.Evrything else works exactly like in a jet engine and im planing to make the controlling and throttling using an arduino and eletronics

DEVLOG 3 - Upgraded electronics and wireless control on the engine.

Hello again everybody. For the past 10 days ive done major upgrades on the hardware an electrical parts . I bought a 433MHz RF Transmitter and Receiver Kit to make the controlling wireless , made a remote for the engine , put a thermoresistor that im having a bit trouble to translate to temperature , made a 2s battery pack for the remote and bought one of those mini gas canister to supply fuel.
I plan to put the thermoresistor near the nozzle to have a measurement of the exhaust gas temperature. About making the remote it was pretty easy , i got the casing from an old RC car and just put an arduino nano , 2s battery pack and the transmitter.
About the fuel supply it didnt have much pressure , s in the beginning of every run ill pre hear the car with some boiling water to get some more pressure.
To power everything up on the project i might use 2 battery packs , the main battery only for the ESC and EDF and another 2s pack for the arduino and eletronics in the engine.
Im still having trouble on the programming side and thats the only thing stopping me from the first test run with arduinos .
Also if anyone is curious about how this engine works and every special thing about it comment and ill make another devlog explaining everything you want to know.

DEVLOG 2 - Upgraded airfoils , inner design and some touches to the ESC

Hello. This time i better isolated the airflow inside the tube, because it had leaks and low pressure zones which made the flames leaked and could potentially go straight into the EDF and its powerful suction would make completely melt itself. Also removed the previous aluminium foil that was on the tube at the end , like at the exhaust to it would create a more tight space and therefore higher velocity gasses leaving from the nozzle creating more thrust. Then i noticed that the flame tube right behind the EDF was kind off not centered so i cut some nails in half and drilled some holes into the tube from outside to inside and put those nails in a way to center and hold the flame tube in position then just glued them in place from outside. Also tried to use a servo motor to move the slide potentiometer so i could throttle the fan speed as i liked . It can go from 20k rpm up to 110k rpm. at first it starts to work as i want but then just does spins and every time it does throttle it doesnt return anymore to its starting position its like it has lag , and its maybe the codes fault because i dont know programming i fully really on ai for this one. please if someone can help me comment and let me know , i really need help because im planning to use servos and arduino which is connected to a bluetooth module and then i will use to my phone to control it from a safe range and also make it look cooler. And also the last ting i want to say is stay tunned because this thing has a lot of thrust even without the flames so its going to be crazy and im going to make the first test after all of these big upgrades soon maybe in like 3 days because im not home. thank you everybody

FIRST DEVLOG- A entry to my project and the changes ive done when i got into stardance

Hello everyone . This is the project ive been working on for the past 3 months.
Its the best project ive done so far! Its a prototype to an eletric motorjet, or similar to other of its type people call it EDF with an afterburner.

This is partly an EDF with an after burner , but it hase extra features, more power and similiar principles to a real turbojet engine.
It has a 70mm EDF as the main engine , then comes the “tube” or the casing which is in a shape to work as a diffuzer and slow down the air , then comes the turbulence nozzle wich sits right in the middle of the tube and it porpuse is to make the air turbulent so the flame doent flameout , then the walls are covered with thick aluminium sheets to tighten the path and therefore increase the gas velocity, in this part also sits a coiled up copper tube which transports the fuel and also absobrs some of the heat from the flames to preheat the gas and at the end is the exhaust nozzle wich is the final part to increase the exhaust velocity.
All these parts work together and make a small “jet engine” wich i put on wheels to measure the thrust because its big.

Im going to make ALOT of upgrades to this project so check out my other devlogs and also follow me to see it run and how fast it goes , also for everyone who wants to know some measurements!
