NSEM is a platform dedicated to making astronomy accessible to everyone, regardless of where they live, their income or their access to resources. By combining light pollution data, stargazing locations, telescope lending programs, astronomy clubs, observatories and educational opportunities into one interactive map, NSEM helps users discover the night sky and connect with the tools and communities that make space exploration possible. It’s mission is to reduce barriers to astronomy and inspire the next generation of scientists and space explorers.
