JavaFX
JavaFX was interesting, and I’m not too sure how I want to feel about it. I’ve not much to say about this part. Minecraft doesn’t actually use JavaFX, so this part was just slightly useless, but there are some similarities to Minecraft’s rendering system (Lightweight Java Game Library) that I can use to make my mod. I’m most exited for Part 14, where I learn about Maven, since it’s a Java topic I know not much about. Most importantly, after Part 14, I get to finally work on my mod.
One interesting thing about this part is that I switched to IntelliJ since it was easier to work with JavaFX on it than on VSCode. Setting up JavaFX just to start working on this part was painful, but I’m happy that I got it working
For now, enjoy the TicTacToe Application, and the horrendous if-condition that ends the game :)
and sorry this devlog is lowk kinda mid, im tired and don’t feel like writing rn but oh well
