I made my first WebOS! It was really fun to make, and I loved expressing myself through it. The process was fun and somewhat challenging at times, with frustrating CSS nonsense. I'm really proud of how clean the interface is and how nicely the calculator and UI/UX (little though there may be) is.

All wrapped up. Made a calculator! It’s a simple accounting style one where you do one operation at a time. I modeled a little state machine on paper to work out all the states and transitions. Quite fun! AI did the CSS fyi.

Added closing and opening windows and desktop icons! Got my own little way of reopening windows - they’re kept on the left side of the top bar. Had some fun making a demo app of “System Stats” that are just random, changing binary. All that’s left is to make my final, most complicated app: a calculator.

I’ve actually been working like 2 hours, hackatime just was misconfigured. Anyways, I’ve built the core of the OS! Had lots of fun with trying to make the guide’s structure cleaner and more modular and extensible, which is cool. Screenshot attached. Just finished window dragging!
