This is exciting
Accomplishments:
- Pc->Microcontroller transmission + synchronized queue
- Robust event handler allowing interrupts such as button activation
- command center control allowing user autonomy over decisions
Next steps
With a majority of the software design done to ensure that the system both does what i intended it to do while also ensuring it is future proof and handles interrupts while also allowing it to be complex, i can begin to finalize the PCB design while also designed a case it can go in.
I will start by finishing the PCB design this should be fairly simple and quick, which afterwords i will first work on a case for my two display example as a prototype for pitching and then work on the actual case, from here i will hopefully get advise from some people here on making the design better or fundamental changes to the code.
I know for a fact there is still many things i need to do on the software to truly make it customer proof, for one the image streaming is mad slow, Ive got ideas on ways to make it faster but im already like 20+ hours into the software. with the last step being to actually add the button effects this will likely be done by calling external user generated files from the pc which will execute whatever command is asked. i will put minimal effort into this as i think its best to allow users to have full control over what they want their system to do
