I made VNfolks, a small website about Vietnamese folklore, traditional beliefs, and the stories I grew up hearing about. I wanted to present these topics in English and look at them from both a cultural and scientific perspective .The hardest part was probably deciding how to present these stories without making them feel like I was trying to prove that supernatural things are real. I also had to spend quite a lot of time researching the background of different beliefs and figuring out how to turn all of that information into something simple and easy to read. I’m most proud of the fact that I actually finished and shipped the website. It started as an idea based on my own interests, and I ended up turning it into something that other people can explore too .If you want to test it, you can start from the Home page and use the navigation to explore the different topics and stories. The website is mainly designed for people who are curious about Vietnamese culture, folklore, or just enjoy learning about strange and mysterious stories.
