Ok so today I started this project and made a lapse of it. The story behind it is that my best friend saw my hacked and loved playing with the satisfying switches… SO OFC SHE ASKED ME TO MAKE HER A SMALLER VERSION WITH THE SAME SWITCHES. omg in this economy I need to use my precious MX switches bought for 30cents on aliexpres??? okay that’s cool that’s for my bsf. So I started this by finding the CAD of the switches and the keycaps online and imported them on fusion. I hadn’t used it for a long time so it was a bit hard making my way ack through all that. Anyway after that small hour of work, I got with a small test print I need to actually print to see if I am going in the right way. It’s basically the result of me testing things with tolerance etc to see if with those exact settings I could put the switches in it without gluing them.

Today I finished the CAD jejeje , I realized that the problem with my motors not working was the amps, not the voltage. I spent like an hour trying to see if it was a coding issue, and it turns out I was using a 9V alkaline battery, and it doesn’t provide enough amps :C. I made some battery holders that didn’t work that well. I’m going to work on the journal, the readme, and the website today (if I survive), and I couldn’t make a battery holder that actually works… I don’t recommend wasting an hour of your life doing it.
