Devlog-5
- got the pickup animation working and attached a script
- not much work done cause It was not working for some reason so I had to remake the animation thrice
Devlog-5
DEVLOG-4 (IDK I FORGOR)
Well turns out the SD guide is lowk confusing
Hiya
Devlog no. 3!
Well made a lot of updates in this one, made the ingame timer nodes, created a player and started work on the first minigame
I will be using complete movement player sprites which I made using MSPaint
Well, let’s get started on making the Game now
DEVLOG 2
Created global script part, additionally added level_scene and created custom bg for it ( main-menu but orange
)
Also made the life’s as Baguettes
Check the repo lol, every single item is a random name
Now I will be beginning work on the minigames themselves and have thought of the first game to be a runner-platformer rather than the guide suggested basic platformer
Hey
Well I guess this is my 2nd actual project on stardance huh
So, i introduce to you, BAGUETTE-WARE
|
a marioware game inspired by my slack-id.
Well let’s talk about the project. Turns out I was using GODOT 4.3 which is pretty old now
and following the guide was a really big problem for me. Visual glitches on the editor’s side took me 15~20 minutes to debug (still isn’t fixed yet btw) but at the end I got it working and finally finished the MAIN MENU
Well here’s a picture of the initial edit of the main menu
(I also took like a hour to make that bg
)
A lot of work done in this one.
For starters, styled multiple classes with Fonts, added grids and styled the navbar. Additionally created a button with basic JS application. Added basic transitions and a box-shadow on my text-div
. I also went ahead and fixed any grammatical and indentation issues.
Primarily, REVAMPED the WebDance logo
.
Also added an inline photo too
Hiya, my first devlog ever huh.
Well anyways, I started the project with some art I made, completed the basic structure of the website. Honestly right not it isn’t as presentable but I am working on the fonts and color-grading.
Completed the background CSS and made a basic navbar and also completed the text part of the website.
UP next, I plan to add basic animations and complete the website for it’s first ship with better CSS.
