Hello!
I am currently trying to get the calendar to a state where it can be 3D printed and the core functions should work (and can be tested by being 3d printed). I am a lot of the way there.
I spent most of this devlog time making the core 3 parts and then working on the sun (which will show the month when you rotate the earth around it)
I got a bit confused around the start as I did not go into this with much of a plan as to how it would work and was overcomplicating it by trying to use gears somehow.
One of the things I am currently trying to fight is gravity, if you try to place the earth in the top position it will want to fall. To combat this I have added magnets, and will add an alternative option of using a few pins to hold it in place (so it can be fully 3d printed)
I haven’t put much attention into making it look pretty, which I really want to do since I think if I do this right it will look sick, but I hope to get to do that soon.
(I accidently had a plugin on from a ysws that used onshape so the hours are over-counted by an hour & 16 mins 🙏, I’m putting it here to make sure I remember to mention to cut those hours when I ship)
