I am making an AI workflow app for my online ysws program #back-to-basics
In this ship I wasn’t able to add any AI capabilites yet but I did utilize the slack api to fetch user data! And also made a joke command :)

Currently the following commands work-

/jasb-ping : Pings the bot for it’s latency.
/jasb-joke : Fetches a Joke.
/jasb-user_info : Fetches all availaible user information from the slack’s “client” attribute.
/jasb-help : The help command for JASB slackbot

Anyways hope I can keep building this bot more! Feedback would be really appreciated :)

Devlog-3

Added a new command “/jasb-user_info” which can be used to extract the op’s slack info such as the ones mentioned below, So kinda like @slack_extra but a custom one?
Had to use the slack api and add more bot scopes “user:read” and “user:read_emails”
Reinstalled

Gonna ship it rn tbh and will just do AI content later on

Added a joke command (“/jasb-joke”) using the official_joke_api

Thinking of just posting the first 3~4 user commands that utilize basic api calls and then start working on it’s AI capabilities cause there’s a sale on StarDance

Devlog-1

JASB or Just Another Slackbot, an(my first) AI workflow app I will be building for my online program
I hastily have setup all dependencies and also was importing react for some reason (fixed)

Things I did this devlog-

Set it up ofc
Added two commands(functioning) i.e. /jasb-help and /jasb-latency!
Working on a joke api and will start working on it’s AI components from the next devlog hopefully :)
