JJK Alarm Clock

Hardware
  • 1 Devlogs
  • 1 Total hours

It’s a massive alarm clock themed around Jujutsu Kaisen. My alarm clock has recently broken so I made this as a result. It’s really big and cool and it has a speaker, a tft screen, and Esp32 C3 and other features to make it the perfect alarm clock for me and to ensure I wake up on time. Also, for the Lapse thing, I recorded 2 hours before that, but I forgot to attach it to this project. So sorry for that. I didn’t know I had to click it and only figured out when I was going to write my devlog.

Before I start, I just want to let you know I recorded 2 hours of this before the 52 minutes of cadding it truly recorded and I understand that it is my fault but I have worked on this for 2 hours more. The 2 hours was the schematics and the PCB of the build. Today, I worked on the alarm clock. I got started by simply importing the pcb into tinkercad. I wanted to use onshape, but I didn’t want to mess it up so I’m using tinkercad as I am not experienced enough. I got it working for a while but ran into a big issue which was quadratic mesh simplification and designing the enclosure to fit everything. I tried to fix it by trying out a few different models and simplifying it a ton and then messing around with a few different designs while making sure to keep in mind that the tolerances will not be perfect. Next, I’m going to make the firmware for a first test of the pcb.
