Vaultic is a Windows desktop file manager that I have developed with Go and Fyne. The features include folder navigation, tabs, sidebar with most used folders, file size, searching, sorting and a right click context menu for files.
The most difficult part of the project was implementing file rows and handling mouse events without breaking the functionality of the folder navigation.
I am glad to have managed to implement my vision in a desktop application.
As for performance, it is still under development. Vaultic is not faster than other file managers at the moment, but I will try to optimize it in the future.

Final Devlog
SO, Vaultic is finally done and is ready to be shipped, its not faster than other file manager but i still tried my best. I’ll keep improving it to make it actually faster.

So Vaultic is almost done, i added a search bar through which you can search through files also added close button for the tabs. Now after few UI imrpovment, and adding some few features, Vaultic will be ready to Launch.

So today i just fixed some bugs , and made some changes and also learned some new things to make Vaultic better.

Improved UI and also added right click menu. For now the menu has rename and copy path feature.

Today i added sorting , so that folders comes first then files , also added expandable sidebar.

So i have started to work on a file manager called Vaultic. I’ll use GO to make this software. Right now the basic navigation works, it looks ugly, but ill improve it once i have added all the features i want.
