devlog #3 — making astrospark actually work

okay, so astrospark isn’t just a pretty space-themed page anymore!

i’ve finally started adding JavaScript, and the first few features are working:

• a live digital clock
• automatically updating date and greeting
• a functional search bar
• support for google, bing and duckduckgo

also got the search bar to automatically focus when the page opens, so you can just start typing.

it’s been pretty interesting learning how JavaScript connects everything together. there’s still a lot planned, especially ambient sounds, animations and productivity features.

slowly but surely, we’re getting there :)
