HE’S HERE

Yesterday I drew the sprite!! Drawing him took me longer than I thought, and so far, I only have the walking animation completed.

What’s new

• New and official desktop guy sprite
• Updated walking animation
• Created a right-click menu
  • Includes: walking, sitting, speaking, and more!
  • Super proud of this since it was kinda hard to figure out

To-do

• Draw the rest of the animations (sitting, dancing, etc.)
• Give him hats to wear when clicked
  • if you guys want any specifics hats or accessories added, comment them below!!
• Make the right-click menu look better/decorate it
• Add gravity / make him able to fall onto taskbar

Background info

sorry for the clickbait guys. I know the sprite is currently a dog, not a guy💔 I haven’t gotten around to drawing the sprite yet. BUT, by the next devlog, he will be here.

What I have so far

Nothing crazy so far. I worked through the main tutorial this session.

• Created temporary sprite and animations
• Created basic movement and physics
• Made grabbing and idling mechanics

To-do

• Draw the actual sprite
• Create better physics (swinging while dragging, falling onto taskbar, etc.)
• Make the guy speak
• Add more animations
• Add a menu

Extra info

new project wooooo. Since this is a smaller project there will be more frequent devlogs compared to my other projects.
