Today I finally deployed ZemalBot to Hack Club Nest!

I learned how to connect to a Linux server using SSH, install Node.js and Git, and set up my project on the server. I also learned how to use systemd to keep my bot running in the background.

The best part was testing the bot after disconnecting from SSH, and it still replied in Slack!

I also fixed the dependency security issues, improved the help menu and uptime display, and pushed my latest changes to GitHub.

I’m really happy with how much I’ve learned while building my first Slack bot!
