Peek Note - Devlog 2

Today, I made a lot of changes to the program. I added a sliding animation to the window so that it slides in and out while opening and closing. I added a feature for saving new notes in a JSON file, which can be restored later when the program is opened again. I improved the look of the UI by adding a visible border, a heading and changing the background colour. I added a keyboard shortcut to open and close the pop-up, without using a mouse. I also added a label which displays the number of characters in the note.
