Pulse Terminal

I'm building Pulse Terminal, which is basically a dope custom new tab page and dev command center. I got sick of boring browser tabs, so I coded this entire dark IDE workspace from scratch using pure vanilla HTML, CSS, and JS, no cap. It's got a legit working CLI search router where you can just type /gh or /so to instantly search GitHub or StackOverflow rn. It also flexes a live system clock, random dev tips, and an insane CRT scanline vibe. Lowkey proud asf of how the glassmorphism UI turned out without using any heavy frameworks, fr.

I built Pulse Terminal, a dope custom dev command center to replace boring new tabs rn. Ngl, coding the pure vanilla JS for the CLI search router and getting that retro CRT scanline CSS to look clean without any heavy frameworks was lowkey challenging asf. I’m proudest of how the dark glassmorphism UI turned out and that the custom routing protocol actually works flawlessly, fr.

Lemme tell you how to test it: just pull up the live link and type in the terminal prompt. Use /gh [your query] to search GitHub, /so for StackOverflow, /yt for YouTube, or just type normally to default to a Google search. It instantly routes you to the right platform, which is awesomee.

Just grinding on the Pulse Terminal rn! Spent this 40-minute session locking in the pure vanilla HTML structure and styling that dark IDE glassmorphism vibe with CSS. Got the CRT scanline overlay looking clean asf. Next up is wiring the JS for the live clock and CLI search router so this thing actually functions like a dope command center, fr.
