Devlog #8: so bad news, the wheels weren’t wired correctly so they couldn’t really move, I had to do the whole redesign and I accidentally froze the switch in place by using glue to stick it to the platform bad idea aswell, so I just swapped it out with a new one, now I’m debating whether I should change the microcontroller from arduino to esp32 but I’m prob gonna use arduino since I spent more money on the esp32 and I might need it for more important projects
Devlog #7: almost done with the car, I burned myself I had hot solder fall on my leg and I lost some skin I also cut myself on accident because hardware is FRUSTRATING boy I better get good reviews on this cause HOLY I did not expect it to be this hard
Devlog #6: time to start with the assembly process I’m so exciteddd finallyyyyy
Devlog #5: just started painting the wheels and motors red, next step is the assembly
devlog #4: I can’t believe this is only my 4th devlog on this project! anyways I finished the firmware, now tomorrow or maybe the day after, i’ll go buy the necessary parts and then i’ll 100% make this project come to life in person and post devlogs about it!
devlog #3: since i spent hours earlier on the CAD, it wasn’t that hard to finish it:) anyways I’m done with the CAD now, ill be working on the firmware in a bit and then i’ll go buy the stuff tomorrow from a shop and start building
PS: if anyone needs any of these parts as stp files, feel free to get them from my github repo in the CAD folder:D
devlog #2: so i logged 14 hours but unfortunetly only 10 count, either way, ive been working on th eCAD and learning more about it im almost done now but i made this myself but in person ill make the car wheels and motors red
devlog #1: hey guys! today ive decided to work a bit on an Arduino powered 4WD RC car that is controlled by Bluetooth for movement, i had the schematic i did more research on hardware and now im working on the CAD:)
