DEVLOG #002 - CHARACTER DESIGN

I designed my first character !!

I made the walking animation and the code for walking + sprinting.

A thing I want this game to have is changeable skins. (e.g., different hair types, different shirt colors, different types of caps and more…) This made the code a lot more complicated. I also need to draw the sprites for all of these.

I probably won’t make these feature until I ship this project for the WarioWare 1 mission.

Minigame Ideas

As you probably know this is a WarioWare game. Basically that means that there are a lot of minigames in it. And I wanted to make a list of the minigames I want to make to keep it as a note and show to you.

List of Minigame Ideas:

-Tetris
-Chrome dino
-Platformer
-Frogger
-Pong
-Puzzle (This might be a little too big for a “mini”game)

These are my ideas for now but I want to add more. I want at least 12

With this much minigames and things to do I probably have to make a save system and a scoreboard system. I’ll think about it more in the future.
