I completed a lot in the last 1.5 hours. So first I completed the diagram of all the arteries and the ventricles etc. It looks great but I had some issues so I did some outside testing using OneCompilor and chatgpt also tested it for me and gave me feedback.
I also completed the BPM signals thats connected to a fake ecg thats mirroring the tempo of the heart beats.
The four bpm signal tempos include: Asleep, resting, running and finally sprint. And It goes from very slow to very fast. I also added field notes with some data that basically talks about the heart and stuff.
Finally I started working on the facts and I had some issues here a bit in the css but then I realized it was one small easy error to fix.
So I am only gonna add 4 questions in the quiz which is honestly more than enough and if I need to add more later its easy so I will get feedback.
The css honestly needs fixing later it looks too meh.
So yep thats all cya and lets see what happenss.
For the past hour I fixed a few bugs and started the html. And yes I finished the css. This was a bad idea obviously because usually css is supposed to be done after html but its fine currently I am not struggling and it is going pretty well.
I fixed the title which was flipped because it was at 0.1em instead of -0.01em which caused it to be flipped in the wrong area.
I also completed the tempo area and the 4 different modes for the bpm now I gotta work on the ecg signals. I am having trouble figuring out how to add those waves but I’ll see and test various methods on ONECOMPILOR.com. I also fact checked all the research that is going to be added in this because it may be wrong because I got it from a book LOL.
Lets see what happens.
For the past hour I just fixed and added a bunch of stuff. So the css creates a heartbeat themed layout thats interactive and it has a pulse animation that beats which 4 different modes. And there are also radio buttons that change the global –beat speed using the body:has() and those Exact same radio labels update the beats per minute of the heart.
Also I fixed minor bugs in the css background which was shown in the first devlog and it stilll looks amazingggg.
I did the css before the html which is a VERYY bad idea and now its almost time for the html so lets see how that goes because I gotta eye ball it and connect it to the Css which may change some stufff.
Now lets see what will happen.
For the past half hour I being thinking what I was going to do and my colour scheme.
And then it hit me why I dont I make a website about heart awareness that also teaches people about the heart a lot. So I figured out the colour scheme and completed the root: colours. I also finished the background which is great and matches what I wanted it to look like.
So basically chatgpt helped me pick 2 colours which were basically just shades of red.
But I did not like them that much so I just chose this (pic below). Plus I finished the dark mode and light mode colour configuration and it looks… AMAZINGG.
In conclusion its going great so far.
