Lock TF In “LTFI”
I had a lot of trouble with making my PCB and using KiCAD, and it didn’t help that I was the one who knew everything in my friend group. But I was able to get lots of help through the Slack. The reason it’s all one log because I originally submitted in June through the hackpad link, but that ended up getting removed. So I need to resubmit again… Basically my macropad is just 4 keys, and little doodles and a text telling me to LTFI. I needed this because I have a small keyboard and not enough keys to be able to actually use shortcuts! I like to draw and do graphic design, so having more keys to help me will make my life 10x easier. I had to remake my case I think 3 times because it kept bugging out. For some reason the cats didn’t transfer onto the PCB on onshape. I’m hoping that is just a visual error! But overall, I’m pretty happy with my first ever project. Took me around. So overall time spent on this project was 2:30, but apparently I needed to lapse my project… (whoopsies) so only an hour got actually logged.
