Hi everyonee, here are the features I’ve added to the site over the past two days:
I set up a notification system so users can stay updated on comments, replies, and solutions to their own issues (in short, anything related to them)
I added a module where users can view the issues they’re working on.
I’ve set up a system for providing solutions to problems, creating README files, viewing solutions, and managing the problem-solution workflow. As I mentioned earlier, solutions can be tracked from the my projects page.
Users now have control over the content they create on the platform (the person who created a comment, solution, or issue can delete it)
If the person who posted the issue also approves the submitted solution, the ticket is moved to a separate page—the “Resolved Issues” page. This page can be accessed from the categories section. (visually, I’m thinking of making the tickets on this page look like they’re cut off or truncated. What do you think?)

Yeah, I didn’t get much work done today, but at least for now I’ve set up a login and registration system that works, organized the categories, and added a search bar. This is what it looks like right now. (let’s see how it goes :D)

Last month, I attended a camp where we took classes on entrepreneurship and we were often asked to identify a problem and come up with a solution. We were all eager to find solutions, but our problem was that we couldn’t find any problems! We spent most of the time allotted to us trying to identify problems, it felt like we’d run out of problems to work on. We asked people about the problems they were facing, the things they wished existed. That’s when an idea came to me, why not create a platform that brings together people with problems and those who can find solutions for them? I’m now taking the first steps to bring this idea to life; thinking about what kind of theme it could be, how it might look good, and how to make it functional. (I thought the ticket theme would be aesthetically pleasing, any suggestions?) I’ve started working on a rough draft, but there will be sooo many changes to come! If you think you need a site like this, stay tuned.
