This is a walkie talkie project relying on the ESP32-WROOM with antennas to hopefully make a mid-range walkie talkie

Done wiring the pcb yay

I wanted to mount the battery on the opposite side of the step up modules and the TP4096s, but I thought that the mounting holes might be a bit problematic. So I just moved them to the side

My last review got rejected because there were no PCBs, which I thought would’ve been ok since I’m gonna be making this project on a veroboard but oh well

anyway, FINDING THE FOOTPRINTS WERE PURE HELL BRO ONG 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢. But yeah I did find them eventually and I even had to make the footprint for the INMP441 mic myself cuz I couldn’t find it

and some basic troubleshooting

so yeah, next step is to wire it

Worked on the code a bit and made the BOM

also, the I2S part of my code is heavily based on pre-existing snippets as it’s my first time using i2s rather than i2c

Made the schematic

I added dual power supplies since all of my old projects consisting of a sinlge power supply and power amplifiers kept resulting the ESP32 to brownout.

all of this will be made on a perfboard

ookkay So I started off wanting to create a schematic for the project, I won’t be making a PCB tho, the shipping is mad expensive, so i’ll just use a perfboard

I started by finding the basic symbols required for the project. Initially I wanted to make a PCB asw, but finding the footprint for these modules were pretty much impossible. And ofc, the shipping prices to get them manufactured. So I kinda wasted a lotta time and opted in to just make a Schematic and make it on a perfboard later

Also I created a simple symbol for the MAX98357A module

these are the current parts im gonna be using
VVVVV
