Devlog 2: As I have started working on the “real deal” I realized working on two things at the exact same time means double the errors, and MicroPython decided not to work on all three IDEs I tried to use. I probably went through a bunch of borderline videos and sites to try to help, but ended up with my C++ template on Arduino IDE, maybe my ESP32 just isn’t compatible. I then took it one by one and got the OLED display to work! and now I am working on the RGB 4 pin LED which is arguably easier, so I figured out the code and then something went wrong when i connected it, so thats what I need to work on tomorrow!

Devlog 1: Tembear!! I really wanted to create a bear that can track temperature for kids with fever, and I bought my first ESP32 Dev Board Kit, but because I didn’t want to fry my board immediately, I used Wokwi first. I used MicroPython (cause I cannot be learning C++ that quickly), and coded the basics to getting it to work. You press the button and it changes colour on the RGB Led, and the name of the colour (which is currently set) will appear on the OLED board. Configuring both to work in unison was my first challenge, but I got it pretty quickly and then just played around for a bit. Next, I want some faces, which I will probably need to connect to WiFi, or use vscode and add those images. I also want to connect the temperature and humidity sensor (DHT11) but I want this to physically work first and now fry my board before I add more components. My Wokwi Schematic is public for funsies (you have to pay to make it private…), thanks!
