Ok even bigger news!!
Dht discovery was an important step, but this is what is has been building up to: Using BEP9/10, now the program can get the torrent files and download their specific content with only a magnet link!!!

• Firstly, the app begins a huge dht query to look for peers (if possible even thousands)
• Afterwards it requests the metadata (parsed torrent file) from each of them until it gets a response (most seeders only send content, not the metadata and I don’t yet know a way to filter them out)
• After it recieves the metadata, the download proceeds normally

In another course of events, the free nim api key I was using drew it’s last breath repairing this. (I’ve been staring at it for one hour not knowing that the 5th bit in the torrent dict- BEP 9 specific was wrong). Anywhom the key still works theoretically but my cli - opencode failed ( asks for money I don’t have) and I can’t keep my eyes open to fix it, maybe tomorrow.
