Multiplayer had one last rude habit. You’d watch a friend’s cursor glide across the canvas while nothing appeared, and then, the whole stroke arrived at once. Like a fax .

Now the stroke lands while it’s still being drawn.
Every painter already sends a presence heartbeat 20 times a second, that’s how the cursors move.

Attribution got loud too. While someone is drawing, their nameplate fills with their color, so with five people painting at once you always know whose pixels you’re looking at.

Housekeeping: starforge.lacort.ee is the new home. Bought the domain, the relay is now deployed and all is being self-hosted on my Pi through a Cloudflare tunnel.
