This is Balkan Guy, a friendly Slack Bot that knows how to tell the time and to say cat facts. The most challenging part was fixing an SLACK_BOT_TOKEN i had, which is the only part of the project for which i used AI. I’m really proud of the fact that i managed to finish the project, even though i wanted to give up many times along the way.
After setting up the bot locally, forgetting about it for about 2 weeks, then fighting off some insanely anoying errors for a few hours, i made him work. Not that stereotypical as i wanted it to be, but it works, so i’m happy.
