Nova Command Center
I built Nova Command Center, a custom new tab page focused on productivity and personalization. I added a live clock and greeting, Google search, weather, NASA APOD, a todo list, dark/light mode, customizable quick links, a Pomodoro focus timer, and a daily quote widget.
The most challenging part was connecting all the JavaScript features together and making sure they worked with the same UI. I also had some issues with API requests and the theme button, but I debugged them and got them working.
I’m most proud that this isn’t just a static webpage. The user can actually interact with it, customize quick links, switch themes, use the timer, manage tasks, and get live information.
People testing it should try the search, theme toggle, quick link add/edit/delete buttons, Todo list, Pomodoro timer, and the weather/NASA widgets.

#3 - Today I upgraded the Pomodoro timer in Nova Command Center by adding automatic Focus and Break modes, browser notifications, and a completed session counter. I also stored the session count in Local Storage so progress persists between visits. This made the timer much closer to a real productivity tool while helping me practice JavaScript timers, state management, notifications, and Local Storage.

#2 - Today I finished the visual redesign of my custom new tab page, Nova Command Center. My goal was to transform the initial prototype into a polished dashboard with a futuristic interface before adding more advanced functionality.
-> I redesign the dashboard with glass morphism Theme
-> Added animated space background
-> Improve animations, glass effects and smooth transition
->improved the design overall

#1 - Building the Foundation of Nova Command Center
→ Built the basic overview of dashboard with HTML and CSS
→ added a live clock that update in every seconds.
→ Displays Current date and a greeting that changes based on time of day
→ implemented the google search bar that search when enter is pressed
