First was a mobile app for Macondo that uses your API to give you some functionalities that the Macondo website didn’t have. When I found out that Macondo had closed on August (it’s was September when I found it). So what could I do? I spent 38h. So to don’t want to lost all time, so I will continue this project here, for Stardance, trying to adapt what I learnt doing the Macondo version.
I was looking the Stardance website to see how to do their UI, I tried to do their effect on their cards, but I couldn’t do it. Then I did all the basic components (cards, button, inputs) with their color pallet.
If you are curious, the card effect is made using a CSS prop clip-path and applying it on the background. Maybe when I finish the project logic I’ll try to recreate that effect.
I found that the Stardance API doesn’t have a way to get the streaks besides Macondo has. So how will be app functions?
I was thinking it would be like a social app because I can only get comments, projects and devlogs. This would be cached so the app will have offline functions, also I would like to add a stardust calculator (Stardance doesn’t have that). And some stats like time spent, project amount.
Also I don’t decide if I’ll add local reminders, because we have slack reminders. Maybe a local reminder would be better?
Also I started the expo project and code the tabs. (I like the planning, before coding a project).
Any ideas or functions that you think a mobile app for stardance would have? I would like to read some ideas :).
I just found out that Macondo has closed, so I’m going to adapt this project for Stardance.
