made readme, the releases, attempted to fix close og tabs setting bug, it stopped working, wasnt able to fix
other than tht im ready to ship, WWW

so i did waht i said id do in previous devlog, ia slo didn’t realise that scrolling fully didnt work (fixed that)
fixed quite a few bugs, gave it an icon/logo
made a lot more bugs, the icons were not alligned due to diff size names, the names showed up as URLs, fixed most of them!
i like how this turned out, ik ill use it a lot and hope other do too!
readme tmrw and that should be it!

i was going to make another devlog before this but it was late and i forgot
I added a dashboard, you can reopen previous layouts (e.g. a “review” layout which may have ur teams outlook and compay dashboard or something), or del them
I added 2 toggles to the dashboard, incl hiding scrollbars, (cus i found it kinda annoying and not maximising screenspace) and if u wanna keep the tabs u tile open (as they have to reload when you tile them, and maybe you were uploading files or something idk)
and added warnings for these things too
added all the fixes in the previous devlog aside from newtab, it refuses to show.
also did the zoom thing

Things i want to improve:
a: writing this, its messy,
b: the dashboard button doesnt work when on a quad/duo til, will fix
c: the whole home button to open a newtab is clutter. ill likely change the home icon to a search one and u can choose to google search whatever is in the box rather than url
also may make “slot 1 2 ect” show the tab name itself
tho tbh its basically done

I made a second working copy of tabtiler!
the first one, I used the screensize to split the tabs up into windows, and removed the searchbar/bookmarks dialouge. This came a lot of issues. the windows topbar dialouge was still visible, and there was a clear gap between windows that was visible. There was also no point in using the extension to arrange the windows if each tab was its own, it would be much more useful if the user did so themselves how they liked. it also covered the chrome window itself, so i cant switch to other tabs as easily! there was also the issue of being able to close each half individually, it was a mess.
attached is screenshots of the vision i want. (drawn in ms paint) and what ive achieved so far.
my issues incl:
Scale. this should be an easy fix, but i need a way to scale the tabs individually and default them at 25% or 50% size accordingly.
Empty tabs, should be able to open existing tabs or newtabs in them.
Opening tabs, rn selecting tabs will cause them to reload. if i dont find a fix for this imma have to show a warning that forms may be lost!
Shifting tabs, need to add a way to shift a quadtab back into a normal one, if you need more space for it.
Dragging items, currently cant drag text/images to other tabs.
Opening tabs in existing slots, incase you find a need for the empty space
theres a lot more, but i cba to write this any more, soo yea thats tab tiler.
