At Last!
Over this project I have done countless drafts and put in so many hours to get this done! I’m so happy with how it turned out, I’ve really come so far from my first few attempts. The final design was inspired by the terminal itself, and the loading screen was taken as inspiration from Blooket.
I had to learn a lot of JavaScript for this project to get the loading screen to work which actually wasn’t too much of a hassle as compared to starting HTML and CSS. This is only because I have an advanced understanding of Lua/Luau which is very similar to JavaScript’s. Things such as math minimum functions remained largely similar such as Math.Min, Math.random and Math.floor, while function definitions also remained relatively similar. I had a lot more difficulty with HTML though, but I’m so glad I figured it out in the end!

Massive Design Rework & Loading Screen

  • Completely reworked the design choices of my portfolio to mimic code (luau)
  • Added terminal inspired loading screen
  • Fixed mobile and other device scaling
    This new design took soo long but I’m super happy with how it turned out. I also had to learn a lot more JavaScript than my first ship. Huge clutch to Claude for teaching me, definitely would’ve taken so much longer without it! This is going to be my last devlog before I reship for the community to rate!

Hello!
This was my first attempt at making a complete site all by myself. I already had a little bit of html experience but I basically had to relearn everything. I am going to use this as my portfolio for future Roblox commissions since that is what I am best at.
This design was already half-way made by myself in framer beforehand. Claude was used only for teaching me as I slowly learnt HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as finding fonts and stuff like that.

Final devlog before I ship! Added some minor things like hover animations, scrolling animations and loading animations. All the buttons now work and they take you to the respective game or to my contact information!

Completely reworked and created a rough layout with the new color scheme. I really love how minimalistic it looks right now, but it still has much more polishing to do before its finalized. I plan on having this as my portfolio mainly for my Roblox projects as I don’t really have many elsewhere though I am trying to learn :)
I used AI for the information for now as I am focusing on the design first
