hello! this is a personal portfolio/blog site, and my first that i expect to fully furnish! i'm more of a design focused person and i want to implement old 2000s web design into this site, as much inspiration comes from geocities.

i have made the nav bar components to highlight a light neon green when hovered over as well as making a polaroid-esque frame for pictures in the work page. when clicked on, the picture maximizes, making it better to view. i’m wondering if i can possibly add left and right arrows so the photos can also function as a galley carousel.
currently the popover’s css still has issues such that when resizing the screen, such that it’s border doesn’t adjust with the screen(if that makes sense).

made the homepage so far, planning on adding more to it after the 1st ship. however at the moment I’m working on launching the site on github pages but it hasn’t been showing up as what is shown on the live preview in vscode here. maybe the css is the issue.
ignore the heytea picture btw lol, it’s used as a placeholder picture when i eventually code for imported picutres to change about one another in a certain time interval.
