Message

Today I worked on creating the backend for the website. Honestly it took a while finding the right api as many turned out to block foreign access through Render. I did eventually land on using AirLabs as the api provider, and so far it works pretty well and I even got aircraft plotted on the map with the correct rotation angle.

Progress

• Added backend for live flight information fetch
• Started plotting aircraft on map.

Next Steps

• Refine Tooltips and Flight Information/Icons
• Add map refreshing in respect to api limits
