Updated the project’s dependency lockfile by adding the latest Oxc Lint (v1.73.0) Linux ARM native bindings, including support for both arm-musleabihf and arm64-gnu architectures. The new packages are configured as optional, platform-specific dependencies with Node.js compatibility set to ^20.19.0 or >=22.12.0, ensuring only the appropriate binaries are installed on supported systems. This update improves cross-platform compatibility, keeps dependencies current, and helps maintain fast native linting performance on Linux ARM environments.

Working on the project today. I’m currently setting up and reviewing the project’s Node.js dependencies, checking the package-lock.json, and making sure the correct platform-specific packages are configured properly. The goal is to ensure everything installs correctly and the development environment is stable before moving on to the next stage. Another 15 or so hours and I will be done and will be pushing to github

I am currently working on the project and have been focusing on setting up and configuring the development environment. A significant amount of progress has been made in establishing the project’s foundation, including configuring the TypeScript, React, and Vite development stack, as well as integrating the required libraries for 3D rendering and physics. This work provides a stable base for implementing the main functionality.
Over the next phase of development, I will be concentrating on building the application’s core features, integrating the remaining components, and testing the system to ensure everything works as expected. Based on my current progress, I estimate that the project will require approximately 15–20 more hours of development to reach completion, provided I can dedicate that amount of focused time to the project.

Continued development of the World Engine frontend interface. Implemented and refined the React-based sidebar responsible for managing world layers. The sidebar dynamically renders available layers from a configuration array, tracks active layer states, and allows users to toggle individual layers through interactive buttons. Worked on component structure, conditional styling using Tailwind CSS, event handling, and overall UI organization. Progress also included improving code readability and modularity in preparation for expanding additional world-generation features.

I have started working on World Engine. I began by setting up the project’s file structure and started building the index.html layout that will serve as the foundation for the entire application. Right now I’m focusing on creating a clean and scalable structure before implementing the core features. Once the initial layout and project structure are complete, I’ll be pushing everything to GitHub.World Engine is a real-time planetary intelligence platform that aims to create a living digital twin of Earth. The project brings together multiple real-world systems into a single interactive experience, allowing users to explore the planet through an immersive 3D globe while viewing live data from areas such as aviation, satellites, oceans, weather, geology, energy, internet infrastructure, cities, and global supply chains. It will also include AI-powered analysis that can combine different datasets to explain global events, detect patterns, and help users better understand how the world’s interconnected systems work together. My goal is to build a mission-control-style platform that transforms complex real-world data into an interactive and visually engaging experience.
