Local Weather Station that incorporates weather from my property with the local forecast, along with some other fancy features, and displays everything on a local desk base station, all through my LAN.
PCB Design. Over the last week, I have created the schematic and footprint for the Base station, and the POE Injector. I then created a few different versions throughout the week for the sensor module. One version had the compute module separate from the sensors to be able to place the Pico for computation indoors, then just have an RJ45 cable between that and the sensors. The next version attached almost all sensors to the compute module to simplify, and used potentiometers for the wind speed and direction. The current version uses hall effect sensors for a rain gauge, wind speed, and wind direction. More updates soon.
